About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our team. In this role, you’ll drive business growth through lead generation, relationship management, and strategic sales initiatives. You’ll work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to deliver end-to-end logistics solutions and contribute directly to our growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Development
Source and engage cold leads to develop new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new prospects and existing customers.
Explore upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing customer accounts.
Understand client requirements to deliver tailored logistics solutions and ensure smooth service handover upon sales closing.
Participate in global and local tender processes to win strategic accounts.
Stakeholder & Carrier Engagement
Build strong working relationships with shipping lines, carriers, and service partners to ensure competitive pricing and service reliability.
Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and customer meetings to promote our services and strengthen industry presence.
Maintain regular communication with both local and international offices to ensure alignment on group goals and provide seamless door-to-door supply chain services.
Collaboration & Operations
Act as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of service.
Coordinate closely with internal departments—freight, operations, customer service, and overseas teams—to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
Leverage internal resources to enhance service offerings and respond quickly to customer needs.
Job requirements
What We're Looking For
GCE ‘O’ Level, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
More than 2 years of experience in outbound sales, preferably in the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for relationship-building.
Good negotiation and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage clients at all levels.
Proactive, driven, and comfortable managing projects and clients independently.
Willingness to attend events and travel locally or overseas to meet clients when necessary.
Having existing client leads or industry connections will be a strong advantage.
