About the Internship
This internship is ideal for Polytechnic or University students who are interested in warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain support. You will gain hands-on exposure to day-to-day warehouse activities that support shipping and distribution operations.
No prior warehouse experience is required. Training and guidance will be provided, and learning will take place through real operational involvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
Warehouse Operations Support
Assist with daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth handling of inbound and outbound cargo
Support coordination of cargo receiving, storage, consolidation, and dispatch activities
Assist in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments with relevant stakeholders such as warehouses and hauliers
Assist in arranging pickups and deliveries with transport and logistics teams
Support tracking of stock movement within the warehouse
Documentation and Compliance Support
Assist in preparing and checking warehouse-related shipping documents, including delivery orders, packing lists, and bills of lading (exposure level)
Learn warehouse compliance requirements and standard operating procedures
Ensure records and documents are properly filed and kept up to date
Coordination and Communication
Support communication with internal teams such as warehouse, transport, and operations
Assist in liaising with customers, co-loaders, and overseas agents regarding cargo status
Help follow up on operational or documentation issues to ensure shipments move smoothly
Monitoring and Problem-Solving Support
Assist in updating shipment, cargo movement, and documentation details in internal systems
Help flag discrepancies in cargo, documentation, or schedules to supervisors
Learn how operational issues are identified and resolved in a warehouse environment
Other Duties
Provide support for ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by the team or management
Step in to support teammates during peak periods or when manpower is tight

By the end of this internship, you will:
Understand warehouse operations within the logistics supply chain
Gain hands-on exposure to cargo handling, consolidation, and dispatch workflows
Learn how warehouses support import and export freight operations
Be exposed to basic shipping and permit documentation processes
Understand coordination between warehouse, transport, and operations teams
Gain experience using warehouse and logistics systems to track cargo and documentation
Build strong attention to detail, communication, and time management skills
Who We’re Looking For
Polytechnic or University students from Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related fields (students from other disciplines are welcome if interested)
Comfortable with basic Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Word
Willing to learn, proactive, and able to follow instructions
Good attention to detail and teamwork skills
Able to commit to a 6-month full-time internship
No prior warehouse or logistics experience required; training will be provided
Immediate availability is a plus
